I have a CF hood by Carbon Creations and it is very high quality! Very strong and very light, with a really reinforced hood latch. My only complaints are: 1. you will have to drill holes to mount the heat shield if you want to keep it. 2. Every "stock" CF hood I have found will have contours and such that will generally be a little more exagerated than stock. i.e. my hood looks like it has a very slight cowl to the back of it. Regardless of if you will paint it or not, I think they are great hoods, but in all honesty, I dont think you will save much if anything by buying a CF hood.
